Aritra Sen has been working as a creator, writer and showrunner for the last eight years in the Indian film industry, directing and producing several successful web shows and feature films in this time. His expertise allows him to be the overall creative force behind a project and helm it from the writing stage to delivery. Despite having mainly worked in the Bengali language, he has created two successful shows for ZEE5 in Hindi as well. His web-series KAALI (2018/2019) was awarded the best regional show for ZEE5 in India and was a grand success. His first feature film Ghore Pherar Gaan (The Homecoming Song) premiered at the London Indian Film Festival in 2022. His second feature film Shohorer Ushnotomo Dine (the Hottest Day of Summer) was received positively by both the audience as well as critics and was a resounding box office success in West Bengal. He has finished his third feature film Prantik -The Talisman which is ready to premiere. He is the founder of Roadshow Films which has produced cutting edge content for both long formats as well as for brands over the last eight years. Beyond features, he has produced and directed landmark branded content for both international luxury brands and home-grown businesses.
